Get to Know Us

Annie Parham a widow of 7 years who was married to the late Laroy Parham.  Annie and her husband first started the Joshua generational camp in 1998 in Greenville, NC with 21 youth ages 6-21 educating at-risk youths on topics that they face everyday and how to deal with those situations in a positive way instead of a negative way.

Annie Tyson Parham a graduate of St. Augustine’s College in Raleigh, NC. and a degree in psychology, minor in music qualified her to work with all types of population working with children. 


Children who have been neglected, physical, emotional, psychological abuse. Homeless, drug abusers, alcoholics, mentally challenged, and special needs, and gangs related. Annie Parham has worked in the school system more than 15 years of experience and is also a certified life coach.

The name Joshua means a leader and annie motto is- “that a true leader has the confidence to stand alone, the courage to make tough decisions, and the compassion to listen to the needs of others” our mission statement to is to inspire, educate and empower at risk youth and young adults by providing quality programs to assist them in becoming successful future leaders in society.
